Junior IT Security Engineer

For Dornach – Brussels

Purpose of the position:

The Junior IT Security Engineer is to aid the Senior IT Security Engineer and CISO in tackling Cybersecurity operational tasks.

HE/SHE is responsible for exploring continuous optimization of infrastructure and application security, discover new technologies and work together with other teams to implement security measures.

The Junior IT Security Engineer will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and aid in the implementation of the IT Security Policy based on the ISO27002 framework.

Key tasks:

• Operate, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
• Perform Phishing Campaigns and Awareness session using a dedicated platform.
• Investigate reported incidents by users: phishing forensics, possible malware
• Organize and follow up pentests with our security partner
• Endpoint Security: manage the solution together with other IT team
• Follow up and maintain Vulnerability Management with Senior Security Engineer
• Follow up reports from our CyberSOC and remediate
• Diverse IT security related tasks
