The IT security architect is to evaluate and map the current IT security landscape and propose technical solutions to improve the IT security level. He / She is responsible for exploring continuous optimization of infrastructure and application security, discover new technologies, and work together with other teams to implement security measures. The IT Security Architect will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and aid in the implementation of the IT Security Policy based on the ISO27002 framework.

 

Key tasks:

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
  • Aid other departments in implementing technical security measures

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of Networking, Firewalling, Web Application Firewall
  • Solid knowledge of Linux server security
  • Solid knowledge of Application and Database security principles and secure development
  • Solid knowledge of Network & System Security best practices
  • Solid Knowledge of end-point security principles
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS)
  • Good knowledge of IAM implementation (Keycloak, OpenIAM or others)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Security is a plus

 

Professional competencies:

  • Proven experiences in IT security engineering and or architecture
  • Experience in web-related technologies (Web Apps, Web Services)
  • Ability to explore and integrate new solutions
  • Capable of working on an international team level, team player
  • Problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure

 

Educational background: Bachelor degree or equivalent experiences
Professional experiences: Minimum 5 years in IT security engineering roles
Languages: English, French; good knowledge of other languages is a plus
